The Garland Opry is the longest, continuous running opry in Texas. Every week residents and visitors to Garland are entertained with live country and gospel music performances. The Opry is continuously searching for talented performers and awards prizes and scholarship funds to contest winners. Shows are held every Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

The Patty Granville Arts Center is home to two theaters, which house an array of events each year. The center is also home to a ball room and meeting facilities, making it an ideal place for corporate events for up to 700 guests.
